New Delhi: The National Botanical Research Institute (NBRI), a Lucknow-based constituent laboratory of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), is known for its research and development related to various botanical disciplines. A broad spectrum of research activities is being conducted at CSIR-NBRI, which includes plant diversity, systematics and herbarium, pharmacognosy, phytochemistry, plant ecology, environmental technologies, molecular biology, biotechnology, plant genetic resources, plant conservation, and agro-technologies. New Delhi (India Science Wire): National Botanical Research Institute (NBRI) has invited applications to participate in the ‘Accelerate Vigyan’ workshop on ‘Integrative Systematics of Lichens – Identification to Bioprospecting’. ‘Accelerate Vigyan’ is a scheme launched by the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), to provide research career support to students through dedicated capacity building in selected science and technology disciplines. The upcoming ‘Accelerate Vigyan’ workshop at NBRI has been sponsored by the SERB. The workshop will be held from 15th to 21st March 2021.
