Surat, Gujarat : Mahatma Gandhi, the father of the nation, had a very strong opinion on the handlooms and had a very passionate view of his role in the nation's economy. Taking this idea forward, the students of IDT prepared a picture of Gandhiji by connecting various handlooms of India. It was directed by Aarushi, a teacher in the institution. The entire picture was created by the children of fashion design.
