Nidarshana Gowani invited as the guest of honour at Maharashtra Ratna Awards 2023

Hotel Hyatt Centric Juhu Mumbai recently witnessed a VIP gathering that attracted people of prominence from multiple fields including cinema and politics. This was a felicitation event titled Maharashtra Ratna Awards 2023 that was aimed to honour brands, companies, individuals, and entrepreneurs for their exceptional contributions to the state. The award function was organized by MahaSeWA (Maharashtra Societies welfare association).

Entrepreneur Ms Nidarshana Gowani was invited as the guest of honour at the event. Her contribution to Maharashtra and beyond is well known and it was only apt to hand over the stage to her to award the deserving names.

The big wigs at the event included prominent ministers from the state of Maharashtra, BJP corporators, Bollywood celebrities and others. Some names worth noting were Shri Deepak Kesarkar, education minister of Maharashtra, Shri Mangal Prabhat Lodha, minister of Skill and Entrepreneurship, Maharashtra, and Mrs Manju Lodha. The list of film and television celebrities at the event included Ms Padmini Kolhapure, Mr Sudesh Bhosale, Ms Isha Koppikar, and Ms Yuvika Chaudhary.

Shri Eknath Shinde, Chief Minister of Maharashtra and Shri Devendra Fadnavis, deputy chief minister of Maharashtra were also present to grace the occasion.

Ms Gowani was also awarded a trophy for her unwavering spirit and selfless work as the trustee of Kamala Ankibai Ghamandiram Gowani trust and her excellence in the field of business. When we interviewed her, she just smiled and said that she felt honoured. She handed over the awards to winners across categories.

All these honoured awardees will also be featured in the Maharashtra Book of Records 2023. Ms Gowani took to her Instagram to express her gratitude for the award and congratulate the winners

The evening was certainly inspirational with such achievers from all fields present in a single space. We congratulate all the winners for their well-deserved honour and hope others will work harder to contribute to the nation and the state and move towards the honour.
